Jersey Central Art Studios located in Cranford, NJ will be hosting it's second juried plein air event, “Paint the Town”
June 7-12th.

JCAS's 2011 Plein Air (landscape painting in the open air) event will give you and your family an opportunity to share in the artistic process. You'll get the chance to meet the participating artists, witness as everyday scenes are captured on canvas, and add to your personal collection. Last year's inaugural Plein Air event was as much a resounding success as it was a unique cultural experience. This year's six-day event will be more expansive, providing artists not only painting opportunities in our local community but also two full days of painting in our greater region, making available such locations as Manhattan and the New Jersey shore.

Information headquarters for this event will be located at Joanie's Café in the heart of downtown Cranford, NJ. There you will be able to find the artists' painting locations, event info, directions, tickets to events, and more.
