Artists' home studios, together with local businesses hosting visiting artists, will provide the venues for exhibitions of painting, photography, stain glass, and more. A special highlight of the tour will be the chance to observe the current restoration of four original WPA-era paintings depicting important Cranford historical scenes. Please plan to join us for this fun-filled, educational, and creative afternoon! Between the hours of 12 and 5pm, some of Cranford's very best fine artists as well as visiting artists will welcome you into their studios and work locatations. Whether it is a Cranford artist or a visiting artist they will guide you through their creative process. See works in progress, finished pieces and demonstrations during this self guided tour. We welcome you to start your tour at Hanson Park, 38 Springfield Avenue, to help plan your route around town. A look at what will be available for you to see will be on display. You are then on your way to your first location. The purchase of your ticket/map entitles you to entry into all the locations. Four panels were painted for the library of the Cranford High School in 1936-1942. Over time they were damaged. JCAS worked with the school to have them restored. We invite you to see them brought back to all there splendor by Lito David, at the Cranford High School. LEARN MORE! Absolutely, artwork will be available for purchase.
