Cranford is a former summer get-away town for sweltering wealthy New Yorkers at the end of 19th Century. It is a quaint railroad town with Victorian houses, brick sidewalks, period street lights, historic buildings, wonderful parks, and a meandering river. You will find artists working throughout Cranford, painting our river, parks and historic sites. Become part of this great event, visit the artists painting in the field, and wander through downtown Cranford. Cranford is located just 30 minutes south of NYC by train or bus and is easy to get to from the Garden State Parkway or the NJ Turnpike.

There will be plenty of people to help you navigate around. If this is your first time to Cranford let us know and will give you additional information on Cranford and the surrounding area to help make your stay more enjoyable.
Will the artwork be for sale?
All work will be exhibited on Sunday June 13th. There will be an awards ceremony and sale, and all competition artists will be in attendance. Allison Malafronte, Senior Editor, American Artist , Workshop, Drawing and Watercolor magazine will judging and presenting awards.
