Paul's fine art combines a 19th century approach to painting with contemporary subject matter. Working in oils, pastel, watercolor or pencil Paul chooses a medium and approach that best suits what he is depicting. Whether painting Plein Air, from life or in a studio setting each picture is handled in a manner that is tailored to the subject, he considers the piece of art as a whole, the surface quality as well as the image. Paul's work has been displayed in numerous group shows and juried exhibitions and he has received awards for both his portraiture and landscape painting. His paintings are held in both corporate and private collections. Paul has conducted demonstrations and workshops for a number of art organizations. Studied painting the Art Students League , She works in oils as well as pastels. Her work is in many private and Corporate collections throughout the United States and has been pulished in American Artist Magazine, Artist Magazine, and is in several books including the best of Pastel and Pastel painting, by Guy Rodden she is also a full member of the Pastel Society of America.
