Help create a masterpiece, buy an artist an easel!
I am writing to share with you some exciting news from Jersey Central Art Studios*. Now underway at the Cranford Community Center, three painting classes, two for adults and one for teens grades nine through twelve, are in full swing! These classes are filling a void in community sponsored art education in our area, and represent a unique opportunity for adults and teens to learn the art of painting from professional artists. We are fortunate to have well-established, professional instructors, with impressive backgrounds and extensive experience in teaching art. As part of the start up associated with creating this program, JCAS has purchased 15 artist easels for use in the classroom. To help fund the purchase of these easels, JCAS is embarking on a modest fundraising program. A tax deductible contribution of $100 will allow for the full payment of one easel. Donors who contribute at this level will be recognized with a small brass plaque that will be affixed to the easel; the plaque will be engraved with your name or dedication. Donations in any amount will be greatly appreciated please send check to JCAS, 221 Orchard St., Cranford, NJ 07016.For donations of $100 or more you can click the buton below. Your generous contributions will assist in furthering artistic opportunities in our community. We hope that you share in our excitement and are able to assist us in our fundraising efforts. Should you have any questions about JCAS, this fundraising program or the art classes that are not addressed on our website, please do not hesitate to contact Deb Leber at dleber@comcast.net or call (908) 272-3743.
